NFL Nixes Guns For Off-Duty Cops at Cleveland Stadium
Stadium becomes Constitution-free zone and mass-murder magnet in one fell swoop

As if the National Football League’s regulations couldn’t get any more draconian, one NFL stadium is moving to impose even tighter gun restrictions – and this time they’re targeting the supposed good guys.

According to Cleveland.com, a memo went out to Cleveland police stating FirstEnergy Stadium, home of the Cleveland Browns, would begin outlawing firearms for off-duty cops, essentially lowering officers to the same level as the other disarmed peasants.
“Off-duty officers who attempt to bring firearms into an NFL facility will be denied entry. An armed officer will only be allowed inside a league facility if they are working an NFL game or event in an official capacity, according to the memo,” reports Brandon Blackwell.
The president of the Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association, Jeff Folmer, says the NFL’s decision is “disappointing.”
“We are police officers 24/7,” Follmer said. “I don’t know why anyone would want to disarm a police officer.”
The fabricated events of 9/11 prompted the NFL to become a useful cog in helping wean the population into a subservient, sycophantic mentality, facilitated by the gradual implementation of the Department of Homeland Security’s “See Something, Say Something” snitch guidelines.
Previously, we documented how the DHS used the Super Bowl to announce its NFL partnership in launching the “If You See Something, Say Something” propaganda campaign, which urged well-meaning Americans to live in constant fear of a phantom terror threat.
We’ve also exposed how two years ago the NFL moved to implement airport-style “enhanced” pat-down procedures under the guise of improving fan safety, shredding any last semblances of the Fourth Amendment.
Back in June, we also reported on the NFL’s new (and absurd) “clear bag” policy, touted as a measure to “enhance public safety,” but really just an additional step towards conditioning people to accept they’re guilty until proven innocent.
Despite assurances the measure will improve safety, majority of poll respondents back guns for cops.
Of course, none of this should be surprising given what we saw in the wake of Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jevon Belcher’s murder/suicide, when NBC sports commentator Bob Costas used a segment to indict what he called the “gun culture.”
As we wrote last week, gun hysteria in schools has soared to new heights and has begun targeting cops there as well. One Arizona police officer was even asked not to wear his gun or his uniform when dropping off his daughter at school due to parents concerns regarding his firearm.
Given that a majority of Americans are more concerned with Miley Cyrus and football than preserving gun rights and civil liberties, it’s no surprise the NFL has come this far in acclimating the public to accept a mild form slavery in return for football seats.
Thankfully, there is a glimmer of hope. As of writing, a poll on Cleveland.com’s site shows a majority of poll respondents (55.91% to 42.76%, or 1,263 to 966) favor allowing off-duty law enforcement officers wearing guns in the stadium.
