“Blow Me Bitch!” – Female NYPD Cop Filmed Berating Vendor

A female NYPD officer was caught on camera performing a short dance routine and berating a street vendor in a shockingly crass, offensive and slightly humorous public display.
A video making its rounds shows the cop, known only as Officer Melidones, in the process of delivering a summons to a Mr. Softee vendor for working in a no-parking zone, according to Gawker.
The female cop is first observed arguing with the vendor, who is part of an organization called StreetVendor.org – a movement that seeks “more power and more respect” for street vendors.
Next, she bafflingly starts spinning in place in what the man filming described as “maniac” fashion.
“What is wrong with you?” the man is heard asking her. “What is wrong with you?” the cop answers back, before instructing him to “blow me, bitch” while simultaneously giving him an “F you” hand gesture.
Her stunt reportedly earned her a civilian complaint, something StreetVendor.org’s project director, Sean Basinski, hopes other cops will learn from.
“We’re not angry at this particular cop or out to get her,” Basinski told the New York Daily News. “We just want the police to train their officers to respect street vendors.”
“They have ‘Courtesy, Professionalism and Respect’ put on the side of their cars… [T]hey have to live up to it.”
